Opinions on Lift...

I bought the 03 2500 quad 4x4 sb a while back and it came with the lift on it. I like the look but in all honesty I don't need it or the hassles that come with it. The most offroad I get is two track to get to a fishing hole or camp spot. My 95 ctd was stock with 33's and it was perfect. So first question... what kind of lift is it (4" 6" brand etc.) and how can I get it close to stock. The tires are 315 70 17's about 50%. Thanks for any info.

looks like a 6" just because the tires appear to be a little small. as for brands not sure. some kit that replaces the rear spacers with whole new leaf packs. i'd just get a size or 2 larger tires to fill the wheel wells.
i like the way the truck looks as is.

I'll take a guess and say Traildisaster..I mean Trailmaster.

By the look of those coils, the ride must be horrible.....

To get it close to stock, you'll need coils, factory control arms, take out the add a leaf, the track bar drop bracket and maybe a pitman arm and sway bar links. Might need new U bolts too.....

I thought traimaster to but the ride is OK for a lifted truck. Also the rear uses a add a leaf and a couple of canter blocks. Keep the info comming.

So the only thing added to the rear was an add a leaf? Sorry for the confusion but the rear seems a lot higher than my 95ctd.

Those shocks look white to me in the pics, Trailmaster would be grey. what's wrong with Traildisaster?

yep...
if the coils and control arms were red, i would say it was a 5" (4.5" for diesels) skyjacker lift.
i guess we're kinda beating a dead horse...if you want to take the lift off, then i don't really see what it matters the brand of lift.
like cowboy said, the only things you'll have to buy is factory control arms, coils, and shocks...the rest will just need to be removed.

And if you are looking to go back to stock maybe check with some of the guys on here about getting the parts. Also, if you go to some 4 x 4 shops that put on lifts you may find some of the required items just laying around... Seems all the shops I ever went to had all the stock stuff in piles.

So the rear minus the add a leaf will be stock. Then all I need to do is the front end parts. Thanks a lot you guy's. If anyone wants to trade some lift coils, control arms, and a drop pitman arm for stock let me know.
