Ok what do I need

I just ordered a smarty TNT and now it comes to time to decide what else I need to keep from destroying everything, especialy my tranny. What parts would yall recommend are short coming and where is a good place to find them at the most reasonable costs. All my mods minus the smarty are listed in my sig and I will be stacking it with the puck thats currently on it. Thanks again

By your sig, I take it you are running the stock intake? I'd free up some air with an aftermarket intake or you'll have higher EGT's. Speaking of EGT's, make sure you get some gauges or you'll run the risk of serious damge to the engine. Obviously, you know you need to start a tranny fund now...

You just jumped into the deep end of the pool.

You need the following at minimum...

Gauges
TC and VB
Lift Pump

About $3000 if you do the work yourself

You really should have....

Gauges
Built Tranny
Lift Pump
CP3
Turbo

About $8000 if you do the installs

Omaha summed it up, you might not need a lift pump though mine never dropped below 5psi w/ the TNT, but its a good idea

I like ATS. Goerand, HTS, and Suncoast are all good to. I wouldn't go with the Arctic air setup. My buddy got one of their kits, the intake was a piece of flex pipe material, not all the parts were their, and fit and finish looks terrible. Nathan Wright from MPI (Maximized performance) builds similar kits but their very well constructed, I have his setup and its awesome!

If yours is an early 04 you want to keep your fuel pump in priority. I love my Airdog, but the Fass, GDP, Raptor, are all good choices to consider. After that you can worry about the Tranny, its a big chunk of money vs a small one. Get your supporting mods in, then do your strength buildup. JMHO

I'd say at least get a drop in filter and then spend the money on a GDP392 and install it yourself. Your definately not going to have enough fuel for the TNT as it stands.

well I'm considering just getting the raptor 150 for now but in yalls opinion should I just bite the bullet and get the air dog or would the raptor 150 do good for a while. Also what setting should I run the tnt on till I get the pump and tranny in

IMO the Airdog gives you everything you need for 500 bucks, 2 mic filtration, water and air separation, more volume and pressure, and all with a lifetime warranty, it is a straightforward install and will support what you want.

As far as the TNT goes, sw1 will be about all you can handle if that. TNT doesn't like my truck, so I don't run it, so I can't give you knowledgable specifics, but I know sw1 is a strong tune by itself.
