Yes, if you care about the type of gasket that seals the holes from leaking water. They switched to the fron / back design to get the light to clamp down on the roof better. Mine to not sit tightly against the body in the rear, since the side by side holes are more near to the front of the light. So I plan to switch mine for that reason, and also for the updated rubber gasket on the front / back style. The side by side uses a thin foam.

I have four holes in each light on the cab of my truck and no leaks!!! IMO its all a matter of the installer.. I make sure I use silicone on the holes and silicone is cheap so I use plenty!!!

yeah but it was nerve racking...........the lights look good but it looks to me like they need another gasket at the bottom or something around the base of the light itself the holes are sealed hardcore with international rtv that we use on our tractors and trailers

Hey guys, just got done doing this on my Dads '08. I ordered from dodgeparts.com and got them in 3 days. Install took about 3 hours, which about an hour of that was measuring and remeasuring and remeasuring and so on. THE KEY TO EASY 7/8 HOLE IS A STEP BIT. I broke down and paid $83 for a nice step bit. WELL WORTH IT!!
