Nos ?

Whats your guys opinion about nos on motor with no internal modifications. For example a 100 hp shot with the way I am set up in my sig. I am thinking about adding it but is it a high risk, or not very hard on them with a little shot compared to a couple hundred hp shot.

get studs first! Other than that, most of the trucks over 1K HP are on stock headgaskets and bottom ends. Some have cam/springs, others do not

I dont think they make them for the 6.7 but they might be the same as the 5.9 since the heads are the same.

I would hook it up and start with a small jet. The beauty of NOS is you will only make as much power as the fuel you add. You can put in a "250" jet and only make 30hp if thats all the extra fuel you add. Make sure the water injection is off, or you will have ice injection. What does NOS do to a DPF anyway? I would like to see that thing regen with a big blast of unburnt NOS coming out the pipe.

Inject the nitrous into the pre-CAC intake duct and you'll avoid both "icing" and excessive cooling of the combustion chamber.

I have nos on my snowmobile so I know alittle about it but not much other than its awsome. Pre-CAC intake duct you meaning before the intercooler. And set up that why can I run water/meth and nos at the same time.

Correct.

Also, NO2 is more effective when injected there.

If the gasket is not blown I would not change the headgasket when going to studs... Replace the studs one at a time and bottom tap each hole as you go... No need to unseat a gasket that has been settling in nicely for XX,XXXmiles... Of course if its already blown knock yourself out...
