I've been accused of selective hearing Lightman, but I'm not deaf!!!! The MBRP on my 04.5 is just from the cat on back. No BS here, it's darn near as quiet as stock. I know what a straight pipe is having had that set up on my '99. She was obnoxious loud. You'd hear me coming before you'd see me!!! I miss the loud at times, but the quiet is nice.

Ive got the MBRP on my 04.5 also and it is not much louder than stock at all. The thing that really quiets these exhaust systems down compared to the 03' models is the catalytic converter. Now if you dont have the converter, then yes the exhaust system will be ALOT louder than stock. I know because I had one on my 03' also. I wish now I would have just straight piped mine instead of spending the money on a muffler and just left the cat on it.

Thanks everyone for the replys. I live in Calgary & have been up at Pine Lake setting up the 5th for the Summer. From all this I will stick with stock but prehaps get a new tip for the looks as I can not have the additional noise.
