New Lift Pump Questions.
Would there be any negative affects of putting on a competition lift pump (GFS-392 ) with a mainly stock truck? Also if I put it on without any real mods to my motor, would 35ish psi going to the cp3 damage my cp3? Would I see any gains? like mpg gains. ( I plan on making hp in the future but im just getting all the small stuff out of the way) thanks

Your in-tank lift pump fuel flow is good for close to 500 Hp.
I have never seen anyone that claims a power boost from adding a aftermarket lift pump run dyno numbers before and after installation on a factory pump that can support up to a given number. After a given number than a aftermarket pump comes into play.
This does not relate to the engine mounted or filter mounted electric lift pumps as they are peices of crap.

Your cp3 will be fine with 35+psi, however, your stock fuel filter canister probably will leak like a sieve(sp?)... You have to keep pressure 25psi or less, to be on the safe side. I see 20psi mostly, except on the really cold days it bumps up to around 25psi.
btw- before my Walbro, I'd suck the fuel pressure down to ZERO with just the xzt box and that's why I added the Walbro...

35 PSI would be a great way to remove the lid on the fuel filter canister. Check into the billet lids from Geno's. They are very nice.
