New injector time?
New injector time?
Well after my floor it install i went to the track running a 12.373(tenth quicker) but even with the new pump crazy larry/ez and my 110HP dynommite sticks im not smoking at all after spool up? So can i take advantage of bigger sticks?
Sounds like you need more fuel but injectors may not necessarily get you there unless you get some Flux 3's. DDP's are only + hp up to 90hp I thought so at 110hp you need some pressure to make them atomize as good as the 90hp did. Was the truck hooking up good...I was hoping you'd get a 1/2 second or more with the pump....what is your lift pressure. ks
No my tires are spining bad, im trying to find some smaller track tires. Although i wanted some extra smoke so i could run a nitrous kit for those desperate times. The pump defiantly made it stronger, feels great but the traction is an issue. Even still my MPH should have been higher even with the spining if my injectors were giving it enough. For reference their 28LPM, a guy i was talking to said he was running 93LPM(without to much more done to the truck). I just wish people rated their injectors in flow, not a fabricated number.

ACook, I can't see how smaller tires will help you much. Smaller tires will spin more under our torque unless they are full on drag slicks. It is a fine line between what boost to leave at to get a little spin and keep the boost rising to match speed rising. What tire pressure did you run at and what boost did you leave at. As a note: my II superflows were suppose to be 62LPM when I could get them to flow cleanly
. My Flux hellfires are probably a little less but make more power, they run cooler and make boost smoother. The LPM figures seem to not be the same between manufacturers. It takes alot of fuel to match a good working set of twins to get smoke flow. I would smoke the full length of the track and I was at 50psi by the first 3 seconds of the run and 70psi at the 1/8th. When I hit 70psi the smoke went clearer and the tires spin at the 3-4 shift. I could never get enough traction to hook up good but I had a few 1.89 60foots...usually with less than 10psi of boost. ks
