well, i flew home last friday night and got home to see my new HTS transmission sitting in the bed of my truck. (Thanks John always hookin me up) saturday at around three i started pulling everything out of the truck and got done around seven. this was my first time to pull out a transmission and transfer case in this new of a truck. needless to say i was pretty slow. n e ways sunday afternoon i had a buddy help me put everything back in. it took about three hours with the both of us. i filled the trans up with 16 quarts and drove it around the block and back. then filled it up to about 18 1/2 quarts. got all cleaned up and took the truck for a ride. shifts are positive. no rpm drops. good firm shifts. the first to second shift will scratch the tires if im in the throttle. there is no hunting at all between any gears. it bumps into lockup really nice. it downshifts great. overall im 100% satisfied with the tranmission and service. i didn't have to touch anyhting after i got it in. id reccommend HTS to anyone that wants what they pay for. great customer service, great products, and great followup. im going to the track this friday night to see what she will do with the new trans and the new turbo.

Glad to hear you got it in. I'm still very happy with mine. I'm sure we have the same valve body. It does everything I ask it to do. It does great at the track and can still pull the job trailer around. I just need a lockup switch so I can go faster! haha. Let us know how it does at the track.

Yep, like these guys said, the HTS valve body (and trans.) is some magic. I know Dusty invests the time that it takes to develop the products he markets, and it takes some serious time and research. I am on my second valve body just doing some 'testing'. He will customize a valve body to your needs. There are several parameters.
If you need quicker downshifts for a larger turbo, done!, If you need second gear to hold longer, done! IF you need all gears to hold longer, done!
The new ATF +4 smells like cat pee in my opinion. Nasty

Ya can't go wrong with an HTS tranny. Only a couple of owners of companys call me on a weekly basis to check in and see how everything is working and HTS is one of them. Luckily its the tranny and fuel supply companys...ya gotta have both to run fast

Another bump for HTS, It's fun having Dusty at the local drag strip, it's always "run that thing harder, you can't break it."
