Ordered HTS trans...how good are they?

Got one on the way, should be here by the end of the week. He had everyone else beat by at least $500 (to the door price) so I took a chance. Dusty told me that I would be fine with just a tight single disc (Suncoast) and whatever else he does to the VB, etc and a lock up switch. I tried Dave first but didn't get a return call and I needed it yesterday. Did I screw up or will I be the happy?

Dude, HTS rocks. Dusty is the great and so are his trannys. I have not had any problems with mine.

Good I feel better now. I didn't get the billet shafts because that was more $$ but he assured me I'll be fine. I mainly wanted a good tow trans that would lock up in 2nd for mountain towing and give me lots of years/mileage out of it.

I believe the Bullydog truck that was on Pinks has an HTS - that truck currently is in the 800+ HP range.

Charlie8301 I have a Suncoast triple disk on order and I was told by many they would be awesome. You havent had any trouble with yours have you? I know I don't have much hp right now but I'm building for it i was wondering what the max power would be? if it around 800 I will be ok because I dont believe I will make it that far

We ave the HTS in our truck and we are now in the 950 plus range with the truck and have no problems with the tranny at all. HTS the way to go in my opinion.

Man I can't wait. It's on the way and will probably have it installed next week. My wife says I'm acting like a kid at Christmas.
