HTS doesn't make a TQ that I have heard about. I think he sells Suncoast. What did he say about what you needed? I would try and give him a call if you haven't already.

I was advised by Tony at DunRite converters http://dunriteconverters.com/index.html
that up to 500 HP a torque converter/VB is sufficient. After that you start 'breaking parts' and he advised past 500 you can start to need all the billet stuff-input, flex plate etc (those are the two weakest things I believe). Pretty good guy (DunRite)to talk with, and they answered the phone right away. I'm ready to buy my TC/VB and I talked to a person from Goerand, he asked what I want to do with the truck, racing and dyno pulls? I said definently dyno pulls, and I want to go over 500 probably 600. I'm getting a input and flex plate, but there was a little flexibility there, I believe, I just didn't want to build the transmission again for a while. If you race and do boosted launches and have over 500, I think you want more than just a VB/TC.
Talk to some of the tranmission shops (as well as DTR here) they are pretty helpful also. DTT, Goerand (in my case! http://www.goerend.com/). Suncoast , HTS also has a very good reputation, but I picked Dave Goerand because of his reputation (I've never heard anything bad about him, ever-maybe that he's hard to get ahold of until you get on their 'call back' list they only have 6 people in shop, I called early morning) I think I'm going to be happy with Goerand from everything I've heard

last that I knew of dusty has an 05 that has stock clutches with 600hp. he said last time he pulled the tranny out at 35k miles I think and he said the clutches were in good shape. if they are gonna bring the stuff to you instead of paying for shipping thats a good deal on your part. I have a valve body to install thats improved from what I had. just havent had time to install it. I wanted someone to help or pay someone local that has tranny experience.
if you dont get to crazy I think it should hold for a while. I just wanted to do it one time and be done with it for a while. my tranny had 11k when it was pulled out.

Hts All The Way

I live on Oahu and HTS has been great. They normally answer the phones and usually Dusty is right there next to Marianne. They were a big help. I installed my VB and TC and Input shaft. After a few minor ajustments WOW!! Is is night and day. My wife would rather drive my truck than her 06 G35. Let my neighbor drive, he has a stock 04, he just kept scratching his head, smiling, drooling and smiling and yelling this is what I am talikng about. I think you will like it. Just do it!!!

I also give a hand up to Hts. I love it and it has done everything I have asked of it. I love it when you can hear the motor tone change when just puttin around town like a manual kind of fools people.

I am extremely happy with my VB, Converter, and Flex Plate from HTS. Dusty is a top notch guy, and is always there to help out.
