Nano Nitrous
Nano Nitrous
Honestly this is the coolest new trick for Nitrous there is out there. When I first saw the kits I just kinda scrached my head wondering how it worked.
The concept is very simply. You know how we use bottle heaters to warm the bottles? Well some folks dont understand really what the bottle warmer does except make the nitrous flow better. The real trick is keeping the pressure inside the nitrous bottle steady. Think about it, you have bottle filled with pressured liquid gas. The pressure is what keeps it stable. As you floor it the liquid nitrous gas goes through the manifold at the bottom of the nitrous tank and up and out. At the top of the nitrous bottle is basically air/space. The nitrous looses output volume or what's injected in your engine as the air/space pressure drops simple because it's pressure inside the bottled is too low to make it flow at desired levels. We attempt to use bottle heaters to increase the temp of the air/space inside the nitrous bottles to increase the pressure. But in reality temperature has little or should I say very uneffective at getting the end goal of constant nitrous pressure.
My avatar is how the setup looks. What I can tell you is that when you turn it on the nitrous pressure jumps to a little uner 900 psi at temps down to 20 degrees outside and lower WITHOUT a bottle heater....how ___ cool is that?
And what is even better is that you waste way less $$ on nitrous. Typically when you loose pressure on the bottle even with a heater when it's time to refill you typically have about 20% of the nitrous still in there. For nitrous to pump properally it's works best to have the tank 100% empty so basically you waste 20% evertime. I know I sound like a salesman but it's only because I really think it's that great. Everyone who sees it has basically no idea what it is but thinks it looks cool
check it out at www.nanonitrous.com It's only a matter of time before Dieel Power does a spread on it because diesel guys love nitrous. Who wouldn't want to never have to wait for the bottle to get how again? Or how about getting 100% output from the first tap to the last drop of nitrous. I can spray full jets when some other clown is trying to get his bottle hot....lol
but best of all at the end of the 1/4 track he's lost pressure and power is fading but nano keeps pressure constant from full bottle all the way to empty. I really do feel like its cheating...almost
I was very skeptical at first simply because I was ignorant and had no idea how it worked. But the shop is in Lawrence KS which is the same town that John at Floor it diesel is from. I drove down there and left with 2 kits, i was blown away
