I think the factory location for the tweeters aim at the windshield, and not at the passengers ears

helluva build!

I'm thinkin in the dash all you'd hear is the one in front of you bouncing off the glass, in the pillar you'd hear the one on the other side of the truck too?

He's done such a nice job on everything so far I'm sure he has a reason.

Thats not how sound really works. When sound waves hit glass think of it like a stream of water hitting glass then all of a sudden getting pressurized and shooting out. What you run into when this happens is comb filters and sound waves start to cancel eachother out.

In my prior truck, my tweeters were installed in the factory location and they sounded excellent.

However, it looks like he knows what he's doing a lot more then I do.

I wish it was in my truck, that's for sure.

Thanks for the the kudos guys.
The factory dash spots is where I put the 3" mids (sorry forgot to get pics)
The highs of the tweets really get lost/dispersed in the dash so I played with them in different positions in the sails and A-pillars and this location seemed to work the best. I still might try making a pillar pod for the mid and tweeter firing on axis but I have a couple other projects that are higher on the wifes priority list LOL

Wow.

You're serious about sound!

Mid-bass..... That's what I'm missing!

Yeah out of all my systems over the years the snap and kick from the mid bass was the toughest to create.
