Thumbs up

I just put the Aero-Turbine 4040L on mine. I like it. Not too loud, but a good rumble especially when you get on it. No drone! So far I have seen about a .5 increase in mileage. I shopped around. I was quoted anywhere from 375 installed to 250.

Is it a real noticable difference, deeper, lower tone?

I am another vote for Magnaflow 4''. Quite a bit deeper tone than stock. Not loud or annoying, but definately some louder than stocker. No drone. Can really hear it when under an overpass and get on it. My kitty ran into the garage. The truck "purrs" just fine without it.

Also, the EGTs seem to run cooler now too (maybe 100-150 degrees).......but i added an AFE Stage 2 air intake at the same time so i don't know what made the bigger difference.

I am looking into the 4" Magnaflow and an air intake. Will these minor mods affect the warranty?

Donaldson 40".$65, no drone, deeper tone but not loud. When I first installed it, I couldn't tell much of a difference. But now that ithas been sooted up a bit, it has a good deep sound. Not really louder, but deeper. $40 to install so a total of $105. You get it at a big truck acc. shop.
