I know, I know. Not ANOTHER muffler ? I searched & searched this forum & the web & didn't find the answer I was looking for. Where & which 4" inlet/outlet muffler, for around $70, can I get that will be more freeflowing than factory, sound more throaty but not trashy & not drone inside the cab. It would be an added bonus if I could bolt it right where the factory one is w/out welding. I am ready to get one but can't find what I just described w/out ya'lls assistance. TIA

 

dont let anyone tell you different,,,,,,,,,if you want throaty,but quiet.......go with the 51 inch nelson.no drone at all,and that is with no cat.towing or not,no drone....i got mine local for under 70 bucks...........bama

 

totally agree i went with the 36" muffler,both are great, and can be picked up at a local big rig shop, you can listen to mine in my video. (link below)

 

Thanx for yall's input. I was leaning towards a MBRP but couldn't find a decent price on one. Any diff. between the 51" & 36" besides 15" ?

 

I have a 51inch and it is nice and quiet the video sounds like alot of drone.My exhaust is 5inch and I trash canned the mbrp muffler to loud for me

 

I installed a straight thru Walker 21838 40" x 8" muffler 60 bucks from rock auto. no drone at all, very quiet.
