i picked up about 2.5 most tanks with the Quad X2 on the 65hp setting. I heard that a ford owner used Hypertech and picked up 4 mpg

I picked up about .5 on the highway before with my Smarty Jr.on Economy. Now with my XZT i actually saw a change when i went to fill up, overall i gained about 2 mpg from the XZT. I believe the change is due to the added pressure from the quad, but i do love this box.

does the xzt or x2 make alot of smoke? and what about the smarty does it really not do much for mpg? im getting 17 mpg now in city/somewhat roadriving, if i drive on highway at 65 or below i can get 20mpg that straight highway though... im lookin to get my local stop and go driving up about 1mpg and highway to about 3 or so... but if i can just get 1mpg over all id say it be good... and is it very hard to install the xzt/x2? because i know the smarty uses the port..

the hypertech e-con programmer advertises 2-6 mpg increase, and a 30 day, no questions asked, return policy.

I have barely no smoke in my 06,only time i get it is when i roll on the throtttle in a higher gear. Compared to Smarty Jr., the XZTsits in non-smoking rooms, which means less fuel wasted out the exhaust. The difference between the two is highway driving. Between 2000-2200rpms i was averaging around 21mpg compared to smarty where i would be at around 20mpg around the same RPMs. I think this is due to the added pressure of the XZT.

IMO If you can stay off the throttle Smarty Jr. on eco proves best, but if you want to stay above 2k and pick up more MPG i'd say XZT. But for city and below 2k i'd say smarty Jr.

No smoke at all empty, does a bit pulling a hill with my 30 TT but not enough to notice, I myself prefer it not to smoke. I noticed better mileage towing with my XZT, maybe 1 to 2 empty if I keep her under 2 grand 60 to 65 highway.

yeah i prefer no smoke also... is there anything else besides the chip i can do to improve mpg. i got tru flow air filter system.. but i like the smarty jr because of its easy to use and no routing wires.. does either one of these system's have any rattles with injectors or timing?

X2 has a small amount of timing rattle but it will "disappear" as you get used to it. No smoke enuff to mention . Power very smooth. Install O.K. if you gan plug up a wire and run it thru a hole.I like the fact that i can adjust it and load different programs depending on my need aka Milage tune from quad.Well worth it i think. But i f you are already getting 20+ i'm not sure you will be getting much better. I hope im wrong about that. If you do let me know maybe i need the tru-flow.

I am very curious about this as well, can anyone verify the fuel savings of the mp8? I already have a smarty so I don't know if it will even matter for me.
