i just bought an mp8 and i am planning on stacking it with my smarty but i dont have the smarty on the truck right now and when i put the mp-8 on it, i can have it turned clear up to 100% and i dont even notice that much of a difference between 0% and 100% and it doesnt even hardly smoke at all. i dont know if im just used to the smarty but i usually keep it on 5(90hp) and the smarty on 5 i kno has more power than the mp-8 on 100%. i have checked connections and everything. do you guys kno anything that could be wrong or do u have any experience with these thing? thank you!

Call TS Performance to see if you can check if your box is dead. I'm interested to know how your combo works because I'm considering that stack myself.

mine smokes a little, but i also run injectors. i can tell a huge difference between 0-100% on the mp8 alone

 

I have noticed only a slight difference bewteen 0 and 100 with just the mp8. If I have the edge on level 4 and the mp8 on 100, I get more smoke than with the edge running alone. If I just run the mp8 by itself it won't smoke as much. I have also noticed with the windows up and stereo off, the engine will fuel less when turning the mp8 from 100 to 0 while driving, the tone of the engine will change. I think someone asked about the fueling of the mp8 but I can't remember what thread it was. I think they said that the mp8 just brings the fuel on earlier or something like that.

 

My MP-8 smokes runs good but you cant compair the two ones presure box one is not.I dont if im right or not but my MP-8 stacks real good with my BDDL CRAZYLARRY hope this helps

 

My Mp-8 Smokes Until Turbo Is Spooled Then Stops Until About 30psi Then Smokes Again But Not Black More Like Dark Grey...i Plan To Stack W/ A Smarty Or Triple Dog. I Havent Decided Which Will Be Better For Me...

 

stacked with smarty on level 7 and mp8 on 40% i cant see anything behind me PERIOD.

 

So in other words it would be a good box to run until I get my tranny built? I plan on stacking either Bully dog or a smarty w/ the MP8. They say 100 hp but real world maybe 30-40hp more, right?

 

i would not run the mp8 over 40% seen too many destroyed injector tips from too much pressure, esp if you run a cp3 mod. keep it moderate and you should have no pressure problems. just my .02

 

Anytime you run pressuer, you should have a 2micron filtering set up. It's the dirt particals that cracks the injecters under pressure, not neccessarily the pressure itself. And for what's it's worth, I run my mp-8 on about 60%.

 

many guys post on here to run that on 50%,not all the way up because of the pressure it can produce.
