MP-8 wrong year problems???

MP-8 wrong year problems???
I have a MP8 that i bought from a friend. He had it on his 06 and I put it on my 05. He said it would work and it seems to, but on the TS website it lists a different model for 04.5-05 and 06-07. Does anyone know what problems I will have using it?
