Modified Cp3 Or Duals????

I am looking for some feed back on pumps. I had a DUAL FUELER on my gray 06 Twin turbo and it NEVER lost pressure. Can a single modified pump keep up. All of my mods are in my signature. After we tuned my truck last night I realized I can not put off getting a pump any longer. The truck cut in and out so bad I thought I blew something. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated!!!! Thanks guys!

Dual pumps are the safest and most powerful way to go. I also heard somewhere on here that there is a kit that is like $2,600 with a pump.

I have not found a dual cp3 kit to date that i wouldn't put on my own truck. Each company has great kits I am liking that Evil diesel twin pumps right about now though.

how come you didnt take them off? I have a stage 2 that seems to keep up pretty good but it looks like you have put alot of nice parts on your truck already. I would say get the duals. I would like to get them at some point.

How do you like those scheid injectors you have in your truck I almost went with those instead on Don M's. I am also in the same boat I know I need some modification in the fuel department but don't know whether I should go with twins or a modified.

I checked on Scheid injectors and they said 3,000 dollars for a set. I was pretty much done talkin to them at that point. Went with a set of Don M. Flux 5's, I've never heard anybody downgrade Don's injectors.

I have heard that there have been a lot of problems with modified pumps(DIY, kits or buying a modified) and that it is better just to buy stock twins for less headaches. Is all the surging in the modified pumps true.

I have been running a Floor It pump for over a year with no problems. Now I getting ready to put on dual modded pumps from Floor It. A single pump is good to 725 or so hp and much more than that dual pumps are needed.

As I see it, the benefit of dual pumps is that they don't need to recover. A single pump will fall off a bit, then recover.

I learned valuable lessons with my '03. One of which is, don't bother with a single turbo. Get twins straight away. Same logic applies to the CP3. I know if I buy a modified pump, I'll only be spending $$ twice because I'll want to upgrade like Sloverado.

Twin pumps, twin turbos, full-billet trans. Only build it once!

I had a guy make an offer on the gray truck that I couldn't refuse, and he wanted it with EVERYTHING on it, so I had to start over. I have been working on my black truck for about 2 months now.
