Question Which lift pump should i go with?

I have a 2003 and was wondering what kind of lift pump would you guys recomened. It still has the pump located in the engine bay and has 125,000 miles on it. I cant decide to go with something like the airdog 100 or something along the raptor or walbro 392 side. Any input??? Thanks

I'm going with the AD100, was going to go with a Raptor but by the time I added the extra 2 micron filter housing etc it was more than the AD so it's a no brainer. Plus since you don't have the in tank pump you can hook it right up to your canister and not have the problems with the draw straw, running out of fuel at ¼ tank etc.

I'll 2nd the AD100. Since you have an 03 you do not need to mess with the draw tube or anything like that. I htink the $499 is running out soon so jump on this!!! Oh and the best part is in has a life time warranty!!!!!

I have ran the glacier for a while with no issues. I have an airdog 150 to install with filters soon because for the $ I couldnt pass up buying one. if you plan to go far with your truck or keep it for a long time I would say get a system with filters instead of just a pump

I'm going with the raptor 100 and building my own 2 micron filter system....pretty sure it will be cheaper than the AD100. Not knocking the AD, I would get one but $ is a very limited thing for me now that fuel cost more than milk!!!

The AD100 is only bout a hundred bucks more. I looked at the 2 micron kits at GDP, they start at $130, plus you won't get the air extraction the AD gives you.

Yea you're right but, I can make my own kit for under a hundred bucks. The air extraction is nice but, I don't think I will need it that bad....if I needed it "that bad" it should have come with the truck. I'm not trying to start a war about "what's better", I just feel since I'm not building HUGE numbers, I won't need top of the line.

Lift pump - 03

If your factory fuel filter pump is still running after 125K miles it probably is going to hang in there. The following link will take to a factory replacement for $179.00 and it is a plug and play. http://www.genosgarage.com/prodinfo....UMP_FPD4089602 If this pump had been available when I made my change over I definitely would have purchased it.
