Which FASS pump should I go with?

Ok guys and gals, I need some opinions, I want to get a FASS but I was thinking of just going with the HPFP or what is sometimes called the FASS II. What do you guys think? Im not a horspower freak, I just really want reliabiltiy, as I have changed my stock pump three times and Im tired of doing it, even though I relocated it to my frame rail. I already have 1/2" line from just in front of the tank on the frame rail all the way to the VP.
One more question: for those of you that did go with the unit with the filters what did you do with that water in fuel light plug on the stock filter housing? I have always wanted to know that.

I still run the stock fuel filter in line after the FASS. No harm in having an extra filter. In theory, it should never need changing. I'm gonna change it this month since I have a spare kicking around, we shall see what it looks like after 2.5 years.

Go with the 95 gal. per hour pump. It will support up to about 600hp give or take. And the only real difference between the 150 series and 95 series is the filter sizes. Obviously the 150 series with bigger filters will have long change intervuls.

The 150 series has the bigger filters, which are common fuel filters. The 95 series uses smaller ones that are made specially for DPP. A lot easier to get the 150 series filters.

I have about 200k/four years on my Fass150, so far its still running. I dumped the stock fuel filters as they dropped my pressure to the VP on my wot pulls. I have 16psi at idle and 13psi at WOT. With the stock filter I could pull the pressure down to 10psi. This may not be an issue for you and is just for information. I also use a different fuel filter thats available at my NAPA dealer for about $20. I change the filter at 50k, regardless, also change the water seperator at 100k. They sell different pressure fass, so if you get one that runs at 16 to 20psi, you should be able to keep the stock filter/heater unit.
