Less Smoke with REVO TNT?

Ive noticed taking off the truck gets up and goes alot better than the original sw9 the smarty came with without any smoke! I cant figure out if its because the TNT fuels harder and gets the stock charger spooled faster or what. I am using alot less skinny pedal because its even more touchy than it was. Im kinda scared to really get into it to see how much it smokes Im afriad Ill get some valve piston contact. Everyone seems to be reporting excessive smoke and Im wondering why Im taking off faster and seeing way less smoke than the original sw9.

TNT, fuels fully to 3500RPM's....with high boost conditions and 3500, you can very well get contact!!!

With a stock turbo, I would be more worried about gernading that little one while running TNT than P/V contact....be careful!!!

Yes stock clutch turbo and springs. Im pretty easy on it so Im not too worried about the clutch I have a con fe to put in hopefully this weekend. As far as the TNT goes it fuels hard to 3500 which is pretty scary. I think the reason Im seeing reduced smoke is the small stock turbo it lights almost immediately even with almost no skinny pedal.

I posted this in the competition forum but didnt really get a response. Im worried the TNT tune is a little much for my truck in my first up coming pull. Anyone recommend a better SW for my truck for a pull? I was thinking one of the betas? I want to make good power Im just worried about floating a valve or something because this TNT is a really powerful tune for sure.

ahhh yes, for some reason I had "r" stuck in my head.

I think the safest route would be Revo so you can cool it. A full run with a little less power is better than half a run with too much fuel.

Let us know how you do!
