Leaving Hot Juice on #5 Setting

Was wondering if there are in concerns with leaving my Hot Edge Juice Stacked with Edge -EZ ,
Set on the #5 power setting all the time. I never pull any load or Tow with it. Goerend Full Billet Trans Installed, just was curious if it was cause any potential problems else where leaving it on the highest setting for daily driving.

I know they are different creatures, but my friend with a 01 D-max has left his on #5 for over 3 years now. He swears it gets better fuel mileage. I think I would set the low boost fueling to 3-5 just so you dont smoke a bunch every time you get on the fuel. As long as EGT's are within reason, and you have the trans to hold the power, I say go for it.

I has to be better than these guys loading Smarty #9 and running around with that. It is like 100hp more that the Edge #5.

My bad I didnt see where he has the hot unlock.

I know on my truck #5 hot is pretty touchy and really likes to bark the turbo down low. I guess on an auto it wouldnt be so jerky.

I would try it if that is your thing. I leave my Edge on #1 just because I dont like the smoke all the time.

Sounds like your ready to go then...
With all of your supporting mods give it hell....
Everybody else might not like all of your pre boost blackness, but if they give you dirty looks just give em the ole one finger salute.....

My HOT Juice/Attitude/EZ stack did not smoke anywhere near my TST/EZ stack on comparable HP/TQ settings. The only draw back I see is lower mileage and shorter life for the tires. Go for it.

Hot Juice with some pressure doesn't smoke that bad. Before I got injectors, mine stayed on #5 unless it was raining or during the winter.

I keep mine on #4 or #5 all the time with no problems. I watch the EGT's but the highest I've seen is 1170 with just the Jw/A and stock tranny and turbo. I get very good mileage with them. I'm looking into the Hot upgrade and the EZ stack, and tranny up grades.

Hot Juice Stacked with EZ

Well I removed my EZ and left just the Hot Juice on # 5 to see the difference and definetaly noticed a loss in Bottom end quick Spool-up power when removing EZ, going to install it back on the Truck.

+1. Won't hurt it. Use it responsibly........ Great stack on that truck. I tend to get better mileage with Juice on 3/EZ in the middle.

I see u have the walbro. I toasted my stock clutch and later the fuel pump while pulling heavy but that shouldnt be an issue for u. I never did turn mine down cuz I would get better mileage. I've moved on now cuz it just wasn't enough.
