I am getting rid of the HBS steel 2" spacers in Lieu of the HD leveling kit from KORE. Im not sure If I should add the mini pacs or not. I want them if it will help smooth out the ride, but according to Lorenze's website, the mini pacs only help with the harshness after the first 3" initial inches. You need something like Lorenzes full leaf pack inorder to help the ride quality on the highway. I do alot of highway/city driving and want a smoother ride.

Do you guys think the KORE mini pac's are any better than the Lorenze.....$285 difference....or should I stay with KORE?

Are the mini pacs worth it for smoothing out the highway ride, or are they not worth it, and a full lorenze leaf would be best (just that its $1k+tons of shipping)

 

I have the Lorenz mini-packs and will be replacing with the full leaf springs.
I have too much un-even roads on my normal commute and am tired of the rough ride.

The Lorenz DP leaf springs should be here today/tomorrow. Hopefully will install this coming weekend.

 

So how much difference did the mini pacs make over stock...as far as ride quality and offroad?

I mainly want to know about road quality, and if a mini pac will make enough difference to justify the cost?

Would it matter if its from KORE or Lorenz? The Kore mini pacs are $685 and the Lorenz is $400?...I just dont know if there is any difference in quality or function, or if it matter if you cobine Kore and Lorenz?

 

The new Lorenze mini pac just happens to look exactly like the Carli mini-pac
But Carli who designed them is $20 less.I have a friend who has a KORE mini pac for sale for $250

well I appreciate that, but I bought Kore mini pacs and a HD leveling kit today allready. Im hoping it will make the ride improvements Im after, not sure if its gonna have the cadillac effect or just simply a mild improvemnt. Im thinking ti will be a big improvment over stock and over my stock suspension w/ HBS 2" spacer leveling kit that has 5100 bilsteins.

What do yall think?

 

The mini packs dont do as much as you think, full replacements are way better. IMO its worth it to save up the extra money for the full replacements...
I have the Carli mini packs, and wish I would have saved up for the full replacements(and some better shocks)

 

the carli mini's made a huge difference in the ride over my skyjacker add-a-leafs.

 

Well Im hoping the mini pacs is all I will need, but I also didn't think it was worth $1,100 for the full replacement...oh and I forgot the expensive shipping $200 or so.

 

So how did you end up liking the ride from the mini packs?
