question about edge juice with attitude and SO cummins?

I have a 03 dodge cummins with the SO cummins. I installed the edge juice with attitude, intake and exhaust hoping that it would be a lot faster. I noticed on the highway its great total difference however i dont notice much from a stand still like 0-60 times are still so high im disappointed. I cant even do a brake stand on dry pavement is there something wrong or is this normal because its a SO cummins? any help here would be great or any recomendations such as mabe doing injectors will solve that problem i dont know? thanks

The edge juice isn't really a heavy when it comes to programmers, there are others that produce quite a lot more power, the edge leans more to the side of an entry level programmer with safety features. Not sure what you want to do with your truck, dragging, towing, or just every day driving, but if you want more power, you might want to invest in tranny work or an upgrade on the clutch, not sure what you have. But...you can always just send the edge away for the hot unlock, it wont disappoint you.

I don't know much about the SO trucks or what holds them back, but if you're adding 100hp, you have to have the fuel and air to feed it.

On my 04.5, the Juice made 505hp with the mp8 and A3k turbo and close to 600 with the Flux 1.8 sticks. I guess everybodies definition of "entry level" is different.

'03s and early 04's had 3 engines.
HO = High output (305 hp - 45 states)
SO = Standard output (250 hp - 45 states)
SO (California) = Standard output w/CAT (235 hp - 5 states)

I have a California emissions SO motor. Im like at the bottom of the totem pole when it comes to power if your talking stock parameters.

With just a Bully Dog Tripple Dog and a AFE intake on 35" tires I could brake stand and spin them all day with ease. Like Ridiculies said, I bet if you sent it off to get the Hot tune unlocked it would make a difference.

Do you know what tranny you have? Some of the early 03's still got the 47re.

Omaharam, what I ment by "entry level" was you wont see crazy power from these trucks without having support from other upgrades. The edge with an intake and exhaust will take you so far, add a mp8, trurbo, and some sticks, and yes like you said you can put some real power to the ground. Bottom line the edge is a great box, I use one and love the features and flexibility of it, and yes I would agree with most the Smarty is a superior product, but still either one without all the support from the other good stuff isn't in my mind half as impressive.

Do any of you have a 3500 dodge with 4:11 on it? I have that and I agrea with the original post that the off the line power is lacking. not to mention the fuel mileage. Any other suggestion for these questions?

Ive got the 48re, the guy who had the truck before me blew the 47re tranny so they put in the 48re because they thought it would be stronger. Ive got the AFE drop in filter, would the Afe cold air intake and tube be worth the money to improve my power insted of the drop in filter? All I want is to be able to do a wicked brake stand on dry pavent thats my goal i dont think its to much to ask? Im really getting disapointed with my truck. thank guys

Programmers should bring the SO motor up to HO hp #s.

ie

EDGE Advertises a 150 hp increase with the hot unlock on HO(305hp engines). This should be about a 210 hp gain on an SO.

A HO and an SO should make almost identical #s on the dyno with a programmer

A programmer ( ie Smarty ) will bring the SO up to HO levels, but isn't the edge just a pressure box?
