sat evening my oem lift pump died , thanks to my fuel pressure gauge i knew exactly what was wrong. iv been dragging my feet on changing my oem but i had to on sunday 114.00 fro kragen with 10.00 in fittings fro ace and 2.5 hrs my trk has never seen so much fuel pressure.
currently the fuel still goes through the oem fuel pump ,BUT IF SCOTTY WILL CALL ME BACK I CAN ELIMINATE THE OEM ALL TOGHER.
for thoes of you who have done it how did u wire it i am using a toggle switch rite now, but im planning on using the stock wires to control a relay.

I used a 30 amp relay triggered off of the stock lift pump harness. Works great. It primes the system when you first turn the key and then turns it off before the truck starts so you don't have a hard starting problem.

well i found out the hard way , once the oem fuel pump dies completely your dead , at least it died in one of my yards with a good mechanic.
i had him drill and tap the fuel inlet at the filter housing and reinstall the canister.
my truck ran great all the way home and runs 12.5 psi at 70 mph.
it also seems to have more power than before but its nearly illogical, that 6 psi more on inlet pressure would make that possible.
is there any dyno proof of that more inlet press = more power?
