ISSPRO gauges installed

That trans cooler line from massdiesel, what is that for???? What do I need to install the trans probe, as far as tools/fitting go??? Any other ideas on the amplifier boxes, if I mount under the dash, will the wire still be long enough to reach where it needs to??? Also can I link my gauges together to light them, so I only have one connection to make, if so do I just wire nut the wire in between each gauge, or is there a better way?

The massdiesel trans cooler line replaces the factory one with one that has a T-fitting in the middle of it to put the trans temp sensor into it. In my research here, most said it was an easy install, but I had a tough time getting the old one off. In my opinion, there wasn't much room to get a wrench in an move around. I used a couple of open ended wrenches as well as a crescent wrench. The fittings were also very tight and tough to break. Once I got them loose, I put the new line on quickly to minimize fluid loss. I only lost about a half quart of fluid. MAKE SURE YOU TIGHTEN THE T FITTINGS BEFORE YOU PUT THE LINE ON. I thought mine were tight, but I had a small leak. It would have been easier to tighten when the new line was off, but I did get it tightened.
I had no problems with the wires reaching. I just mounted the amplifier boxes under and to the right(if you are facing the dash), there seemed to be some room under there. I also used one wire to run the power and ground as well as lighting. I just made my own harness out of short wires attached to the guages, then combined the three guage wires with one long one to fish down the dash. I used a wire nut to secure these together.
Hope this helps.
My trans sender lines were long enough to run all the way to the pan. Although when I laid them out I would have sworn that they were too short.
The location of the sender (where you put it) is very controversial. My bro has his in the line. He is always watching it fluctuate (sucks), no thanks.

Isn't that the point of having guages...to watch it fluctuate? This way, you can see what the hot temps out of the TC are, and you are not reading the cooled fluid after it dumps into the pan.

True, gauges are to monitor conditions. The problem as I see it with the probe in the line is that it gives reading of the oil directly from the TC. However it goes to the cooler almost imediatley to be cooled. When the probe is in the pan it will tell you the true temp of the majority of the oil before it gets shoved through the trans again. Thats what I really care about, the Majority.
Well, I was doing a dry run on some metal, just practicing. I was surprised. Both the boost and egt holes are to be drilled 11/32 and 1/8npt. Is that what you guys experienced with the ISSPRO gauges? Perfect, I can take the other bits back. I'm going to go ahead and put the sending unit right in the middle test port. I do not think there is anything moving in that port that could come in contact with the probe, so I was told by atransmission guy at the shop. Learning alot from you guys, thanks...
