Quick question on wiring gauge lights, can I connect them all together or do I have to run seperate wires for each gauge light? If I can connect them together what method of securing the wires together should I use (18 awg wire nuts)?????

 

Yes, you can connect all the wire together all reds and all blacks, I would recommend soldering. Then run one wire to a keyed fuse and the other to a good ground.

 

Cant I just find a wire in the headlight switch and hook it to that, and a good ground somewhere?

 

Yes.

 

good ground can be had under the dash drivers side knee panel. the steel cross tube there is a pretty good ground.

on that 05 schematic, on page 8W-40-5, pin E2 color orange with brown tracer should be the dimmer wire for lighting. there is another same color orange with brown tracer wire that is E19 that looks to be the ground side of the lighting circuit
