Installed Superchips and loving it!

Installed the superchips performance program and I'm getting some clutch slip in 3rd & 4th gear.

Man does that wake up the sleeping giant! Wondering if the clutch adjustment might be to tight I only have about 1/8" free play in the peddal and only 20k miles with light towing or no load driving. Either that or I'm on my way to a SB clutch.

BTW the added power is awesome! I tried backing down to the tow mode and within about and hour I was going back to perframnce tune. It's much more fun!

I am looking for something to give my new truck a little more power. I am definetly going to put a magnaflow muffler with 5 inch SS tip. I am not sure of what kind of programmer or chip I want to go with. Where did you get your superchip programmer? Any other info would be great too.

I picked up the Flashpaq at a friends shop. I like the stealthy install. No add ons or visible loaders. Plugs in to ECM port. It does jump at 2200+ when you hit the boost and program changes.

Only down side is the 10 minute load time for each change so you can't fool around like some of the others. It also has some new data feature but I haven't tried them yet. The data feature doesn't get much praise from what I've read.

OH the other downside is I am looking for a HP clutch now and I'ev read the auto trans also needs an upgrade when you add more power.

OK, I have an automatic so that is nice to know that I may have to upgrade the tranny. I'm trying to decide between the Edge A2 with monitor or Superchips. The place where I gonna get my exhaust put on at sells both so I guess I will talk to them while I am there.

i got my superchip from xtremediesel.com and they had the best price. and from what i heard from ron at superchips, he said no transmission upgrades were needed. however im saving to build one just in case. when this extreme program comes out, some mods are probably going to be needed, ie. vb and tc. other than that the product is great IMO only thing they could improve is if it was shift on the fly

I think its mostly timing/duration with little pressure but don't hold me to it.
