Mid-500's seem to be it for me. I have dynoed at 555/960 before I changed to a smaller turbo.

For '03 trucks the choking point seems to be the injectors.

'04.5 and up trucks have the same pump but better injectors, some have done over 650.

I have a friend that Dynoed just under 600hp on #2 and 677hp with a small shot of nitrous. He still has the factory CP3 on his 04.

will it hurt the injection pump to go to these power levels?

Your CP3 is safe as long as you give it over 30psi of fuel pressure to the CP3. It is best to give the pump 40psi. At the higher pressures you won't have to worry about your CP3 running out of fuel coming to it.

Get a longer banjo bolt and a fitting from a place like Genos and put it in the bottom of the fuel filter and run your line to the gauge off of that. The fuel filter on a 3rd gen is changed from the top so you won't have to move the line to change the filter.

One more thing, if you put a better fuel system on your truck and you run over 25psi you will need to get a billet fuel filter cap(this is a must)
