horsepower limits of the stock lift pump?

Has anyone hit a power ceiling with the stock lift pump and had to move to a FASS, RASP or MITUSA? Im trying to find out if it will support the power I plan to make or if I need to upgrade the fuel delivery as well.

Upgrade it, running the rail dry dosen't take much effort. I don't know exact HP upgrade #'s.

Is this for a 12 Valve, 24 Valve or a Common Rail?

If you're talking about a 12 valve I know people hitting 650hp with the stock lift pump.
No need to change to an inferior electric when the mechanical is so reliable.

Like infidel said, no need to change. The mechanical pump will automatically pump more fuel with more revs which is good. The best way to tell is to install a fuel pressure gauge.

I am aware of 1 truck over 800hp on the stock pump and many people over 600 with it.
