You may be right but I think they are clamping the voltage at a smaller value like say 4.5 volts for boost fooling. Once that is done I don't think the sensor value will report or read a max of 4.78 volts or whatever they max out at 0-5. I'm assuming this is the problem. They could have "extended" the voltage table but maybe they didn't think anyone would be wanting more than that at the time of development. I don't know.

If you want a "safe" module, go with the Edge, it will not let you hurt anything.

For serious power, go with the TST, but be ready for trans upgrades, and fuel system. take it like this...

Edge$900 and thats it.
TST($900)+tranny($2000-$6000)+fuel system($700).

Yeah, you can leave the TST on lower settings but, if you are like me you wont be able to help youself and blow stuff up.

Its just money

If you do your research, you can get a new Juice w/attitude for under 700 bucks. The edge, from what I have been reading, is not as aggressive with the power delivery & isn't as hard on the tranny.(Even my local dealer will warranty the truck with the Edge boxes, but not anyone elses)That's why when Santa comes, He'll be bringin' my Edge!

It does not matter where they clamp it. They are clamping on the ECU side of things and not the MAP sensor side. The MAP sensor will continue to read until it is 100% saturated.

I think you are right and they just figured no one would care.

You are correct about fooling the ECU side. The sensor voltage is just that...voltage. My bad.

well , i wouldn't say the gauges are junk .. the boost hits like 43 psi and well with a stock turbo i would say that is far enough.. i have both the analogue gauges and the attitude and they both read the same !! i have a had zero issues with my juice with attitude i have had it on for about 30000 km and have done allot of heavy towing (in level 2 of course) and it doesn't miss a beat .. i still grin from ear to ear when i play on 5/5 once in awhile .. and boy it is smooooooth !!! two thumbs up for the juice with attitude

well when they are talking about the new version it could be one of two things ..
1. could be the hot juice version which you have to send in to edge for them to re flash the level 5 setting from 100hp to a 180 hp (i think it is a 180hp )
2.could be the new A2 and that is only the monitor that is upgraded .. but if the guy is selling it for $550 i really doubt it is that ..

i would just ask him if it has the hot juice upgrade ..

Good luck
