I need lift kit advice please

OK so now that I have some extra cash I think I am looking for a leveling kit. I have searched and read quite a bit. I read a post that said the T Rex now makes a leveling kit that consists of their springs and some of the other parts. I tried to contact trex but they sounded like I was crazy. am i? I would love to have the full blown trex deal but it is just too expensive. does anyone know about this kit?

my next question is does skyjacker make coils like for the second gen? and does anyone have the pro comp spacer kit with mx-6?
thanks guys for any response I can get.

I have bough some pro comp spacers for freinds and they love them. I have bough the MX6 shocks and I HATE THEM!!!!!!! We had them on the Exucrison and they just flat out are worthless. Maybe I just got a bad batch but i dont know. I would stay away with them. With my F350 that I had I got some shocks made from Procomp (I had to get them made cause I had a 15" lift on the F350) but I got the 9000's techniology in them and I loved them. So If i were you I would go with the Procomp 2" kit and the 9000's and go ahead and get the Procomp Steering stab too. You will see a major difference in handling.

Hope this help'd.

You could call Skyjacker, or email them. I don't know why the D25 coils wouldn't fit, but you could check. They were made for the 2002 V10 and diesel so they _should_ fit.

Give Jack-It a call, they are the best source for lifting your truck that I have found, other then T-Rex of course, which really doesn't offer "lifts", persuae. Jack-It deals with a few different vendors, and seem pretty un-biased.

T-Rex looks great, but $3000.00+ is abit pricey to level the truck.

As far as shocks, get the Bilstein 5100's, the ride cannot be beat.

I just slapped on a pair of TRex coils, along with a set of Bilstein 5100s last night. There's your leveling kit. Kind of pricey at $300 for the coils, but hell, the Skyjacker coils were $250. I think TRex makes a better product anyway.

I did it my self. I bought a compressor and air tools for what the install would cost. The wife was thrilled at my brilliance. It never occured to me that the coils would be different from side to side, but alas, I had it just about all put together. I was working on the passenger side and I saw some writing on the coil in small white letters that said, DRIVER. Doh!!!!! I went to the driver's side and I kept telling myself, "Please don't say PASSENGER." Well it did. Doh!!!! Doh!!!! I had to do it twice.

The only problems I ran into other than my own ignorance, was the passenger side lower shock bolt... no room for air tools, had to use a ratchet, and getting the track bar mounted to the frame again. When apart, the axle shifts towards the passenger side. So I rigged a couple of heavy duty ratchet straps and got it all aligned again. It's actually really easy. No busted knuckles this time.

that sounds like what I want to do. I like the idea of new coils rather than spacers. I wonder where else I could get those shocks. I remember that there was a shortage of shock options. has that changed. what about rs9000? do they meake those yet
