How to install 06-08 halo projector headlights???

Just got the set in and the parklights will light up but the headlights wont. The instructions are all written in chinese and the little that is in english is not very decriptive. I know it might need splicing just let me know.

The main headlights shouldn't need splicing. All you need to do is plug the harnesses from the headlights into your factory ones. As for the eyebrow, led's, and the halos...... you will need to wire them into the parking lights. That way they come on with the parking lights if that's how you want them to operate.

Did you have HID's in the truck before the halo headlights? That may sound like a dumb questions, but I did and couldn't get the lights to work when I first plugged them in. Turned out that the HID's had fried the front control module or something. The lights would only work on high beams. That probably doesn't apply to you; just thought I'd throw that out there.

So by wiring them into the parking lights it will allow me to have the halo and both lights lit while I drive?

When you say "both lights lit", are you talking about both headlights? If so, no. If you wire into the parking lights with the halos and led's, they (halos and led's) will always be on, but only the headlight you are using at that time will be on. What year truck is this on?

Thanks for the quick response. Its an 06 like yours but when I hooked one of them up the halo ring didnt light and only one light lit up. I was wondering how to get both lights and the halo to light up?

Hmmm. As for the halo ring, the spade connectors that supply power to them may be loose. Try looking behind the rubber boot (if it has one) to see if there is a loose connection. That could be the case. These things are shipped from China/Japan, so there's lots of bumps on the way including very large swells.

As for the headlights, which one is not lighting up? The high beam or the low beam? Or do you mean one whole side doesn't work (as in passenger or driver side)? If it's just one beam, it could be the bulb. Have you checked them? If it is one whole side, I'm really not sure. That sounds like the inline splitter on the projector headlight harness. If your factory lights work fine, you know it has to be something with the aftermarket headlight. I've bought lights online that come with defective bulbs straight from the factory so that would be the first thing I checked.
