hi i did the low beams on with high beam mod yesterday,took about 6 minutes and one click lock conecter,works awsome,i recomend this mod,thanx to the guys who originally posted instructions.i did a search and found it,its the violet with white stripe and a lite green one,you need to do a test to see which green one.works great thanx dtr

It was a mod posted by "RATTLE_RATTLE". I did a search in the forum for headlight mods and it came right up. ( It was the thread dated 4-12-2003) Here in Alaska where we have diminishing daylight 9 months out of the year I will definately be taking a closer look at his mod.

 

This "RATTLE_RATTLE" appears to have a 2nd gen truck. My question to DuallyDave is did you do this on the 01.5 or 04 from your sig? That would make a large difference.

 

I did it on my 03 and it works fine. I also did a fogzilla mod, where you mod a high beam to go into the fog light setting. Ill try and get some pics this weekend if anyone needs it.

Any body know if it will work on an 07???

 

i thought it would not work on 04 and up due to the lamp out circuitry? that's why genos sells the dual brite boxes for that large sum of money.

 

I think the dealer can program them to stay on, and some of the downloaders will let you do it to.

 

ut was on my 04,i read the post and he did it on a 02 so i figured i would give it a try and the wires were the same color,i didnt need to go under the steering column,i went under the dash towards the firewall,i had to test the grren wire for power when i turend the lites on,its a great mod,mite try the driving lite one too.

 

So will this work on a 04.5?
