Has anyone here installed a R.A.S.P. fuel pump

I put one on a friends 2nd Gen and it is an impressive unit. High quality stuff. If I had to do it again, I would probably pick it over the FASS. The FASS is great, but noisy.

Most times the engine wont even start if your leaking on the high side. if you took one of the connector tubes and just cut a 1\8 inch slot with a hacksaw on the tip that mate to the injector most times it won't start.
It definitely was on the high side. All we had to do was properly torque the compression nuts and the rail pressures returned to normal. This was after an injector install and the nuts weren't torqued to spec. Once we found the problem I decided to have it all pulled down again and replace the connector tubes just incase the tips had been compromised. We're not talking 1/8" monster gaps just not enough compression to maintain seal integrity above 8k. Runs beautifully now and all is good.
I have a respect for the RASP pump. I recall about this time last year the RASP was just getting going. To this date, I have heard of no failures of the RASP yet! We were calling it the Holy Grail or something like that.

Plan on about 6 hours if you have everything you need. The hardest part was finding a place to return fuel to the tank. I believe Stefan has weld on bungs for the fill neck but I found a better way that allows me to fuel with the truck running.
I already had the quick fill kit installed so I just made a small change. I added hose and a reducer to the factory vent and hooked the return from the RASP to it. Then I ran a new hose straight from the additional rear vent supplied in the quick fill kit straight to the factory pipe on the fill neck. So now the only vent on the tank is the additional one on the raised rear hump. Worked perfectly and the tank still fills right to neck every time.
