Getting ready to do the install guys....anyone have any tips on this turbo before I dive in? Looks pretty straight foward+ I have 3 cases Bud Light Lime and some help from a few neighborhood mechanics....

 

dribble some oil in the turbo feed line and spin the wheel to kind of pre lube it (easy cheap insurance and prevents dry start). It is an easy install but with 3 cases of bud and neighborhood mechanics, you might not get anything done but achieve a headache by morning! LOL

why did you not persue the stage-3?
how does it perform

 

Did you get this turbo installed? If so how it working? Is it one from Peak or Turboresource? Been talking to them myself and been suggested Stage 2 or upgrade my cp3 & injectors then Stage 3 would work. I put down the numbers in my sig but temps spiked to about 1500.

 

Franklin you should have no problems the directions they supply are pretty good. A couple of notes if you have 4 wheel drive the turbo will need to be clocked, you may have to modify your Aem intake tube and or air box also best to check stud length where the turbo bolts to the manifold, the studs I had were too long and I had to use washers if I had more time I would have installed the proper lenghth studs.
