Well I installed my Garrett stage II yesterday and I must say its a different animal... I don't have to shift near as much because its tuff to lug this thing... Like others have said my engine sounds happier. I ordered DDP 90 HP injectors for it today to get away from my MP8 and will only be running my Smarty. All and all I'm really liking this Turbo.

Well I haven't really been able to drive it because I have either a cracked or several cracked and leaking injectors... On my test drive I noticed my slobber tube had crazy blow by and noticed my fuel gauge was dropping fast, so I checked the oil and it reeked fuel.... I'll report back and post pictures next week.

Well I have bad news as far as catching it early enough... I didn't, sooo now I'm gonna build one heck of a engine... I'm gonna run the new Mahle forged steel pistons, heavier springs, cam "not sure which one yet" also the GDP Air Boss intake manifold cover and other goodies... This sucks that this happened, but it time to build my Cummins the way I've always wanted to... I would like to run dual Garretts in a twin set up, is there any place that has them already set up? Thanks in advance...

 

Where did you buy the Garrett turbo from?

 

I think PPE may have a set up for Dodge; I know they do for Duramax.

The next best bet is MPI for a custom build... he's already done enough to have the jigs and whatnot done.

 

Need advice.... will I be able to run this turbo with stock injectors and cam? Since my DTT trans upgrade I'm running smarty on 9 and the stock turbo can't keep up obviously. Thanks
