Fuel system for twins?

I am picking up a stocker/s400 series twins setup. What lp would you recommend? All I am running is a smarty Revo with stock LP, Sticks, CP3 etc. I will eventually be install 90hp sticks but not for a year or so. So will the stock LP be fine or should I upgrade right away? If yes, what would you put on?

Thank you,

Paul

The stock lift pump will NOT be sufficient for your "planned" setup with bigger sticks! If you think you could drive around on the lower SW levels with the Smarty, you would probably be okay with stock sticks but I'd be watching my fuel pressure gauge carefully. That will ultimately tell you what you need to do.

I ran a Walbro with 1/2" lines with my Flux 2s, dual cp3s, 62/71/13SS over S474...and my fuel pressure was at 15psi and would only drop as low as 10psi on WOT runs. I dynoed 720hp with the Walbro, so it does flow a good amount of fuel! It's cheaper and quieter than a FASS or AirDog setup. You'd need an aftermarket fuel filter setup with the Walbro if you wanted to get as good of filtration as the FASS or AirDog.

On the other hand, the FASS and AirDog systems do more than just the Walbro by removing water, particulates, vapor and entrained air from diesel fuel. If you go with the 150gph series pumps, they flow more than the Walbro, which are nice if you ever plan on needing more fuel.

Either one of these work great.
