I agree, I think dealers are scum of the earth. My fiance and I went again to look at those trucks for sale today. I peaked my head under the 03 and noticed oil collecting between the block and the tranny. Found a couple of other oil leaks around the pan and the head. Sad to see people lie just to get a few extra bucks.

The white one was not too bad but the leather seat was falling apart from the bottom up.

I like my cars to be like my women, virgins. I want to be the man that breaks in their leather.

Yeah, don't really want to pay for new. Plus I heard the 5.9 is solid as a rock. I am leaning again at that 03, I think I am going to call a mechanic around town and have it checked out. The dealer said it will have a 3 month warranty so if their are any drivetrain problems they will go ahead and fix it at chryslers dime.

Id also stay away from the dealers unless your buying new. Like the post above said try to get one from an owner, craigslist, autotrader, etc for the used. good luck.

 

Mines only a 4x2, and stripped, but I paid 27K new in 05.
