fed up with quadzilla stuff

Hi all, two weeks ago I bought a quad xzt tow module and commander from my local off road shop for my truck. After the install and numerous calls to quad tech It would not work(I felt absolutely NO DIFFERENCE) I took it all out and they sent me a new system. I just installed this one and guess what? same thing. I can't tell any difference from stock even on #3 setting. I followed all the instructions to a tee, I even disconnected my batteries for the install. I've checked and double checked all the plugs, used dielectric grease, and grounded to the metal (not aluminum) frame under the dash. I'm at my end. Any ideas? If I can get my money back I'm going to buy a superchips flashpac or superchips cortex. I don't need voodoo I just want the d-mn thing to work.

I would but there seems to be a lot of confusion on settings for the smarty. I don't want to guess on the settings and screw something up. I need simple power because this will be my only mod. Also my dollar limit is around 600.00 and I need guages also. I love the commander so I will keep it and use something else for the power.

I have the Quad XZT tow module. I started with the original one then sent that is for the upgrade to the XZTII. It has been flawless on my truck. The power difference is night and day. My 06 will burn the tires just leaving a light and smashing the hammer down without power braking it. You must have a problem else where.

I pulled the codes and I got p193,p237, and 0069 now. Could that keep the module from working?

You have all those codes because the module is not getting power to it.

More than likely you have one of the rail plugs turned 180 degrees the wrong way.

I can promise you that if you get it on there right, it is night and day difference.

I would also think that if you have all those codes that the truck would be worse than stock?

Although I don't own any of Quads stuff, I'm sure if it is installed correctly, you will feel the change.

I still have the original XZT. I can tell the difference between the power levels.

I don't know where you get your info. Mine took a couple of minutes max and it was using my laptop tethered to my blackberry. High speed the blackberry isn't. It's faster than dial-up, but not by a whole lot.

All the plugs only fit one way except for the fuel rail plug and I have it the same way the factory did, plug lock towards the front of engine.

SOmewhere, something was not plugged in correct. That is why you are getting both fuel and map sensor codes.

Once you break the connection at the sensors, if you turn the key on and the module does not get power/ground, you will get all of those codes every single time.

Ok so how do I fix it? I plugged everything in according to the instructions. I even double checked all my plugs to be SURE that I was doing it right and tight. There's only one way to hook everything up and I did that so now what?
