yes any aftermarket fuel system of your choice should work if you are pulling your supply fuel pressure down to low.

Looks like he got lots of good answers to me.

Summary: Go with a GPD or FASS system and your fuel starvation problems will be gone.

Better?

Thanx for all the replies, that's what I was looking for, Now I just have to figure out if I want to drive over to NADP and have it 2day or order the GPD and wait a couple weeks

Another option that no one mentioned was to make up your very own custom fuel system. Sure it's easy to order a kit. Not cheaper though. And not really better either.
Here's what I did...

Get yourself a Walbro GSL392 on ebay for around $110.
Get an Aeromotive bypass regulator from summit or jegs for around $119.
Get a filter head & filter from CAT for their r0749 or r0750 2 micron filter, $50.
Get a draw straw setup from Glacier or fab up your own, $50.
Get around 25" of 3/8" fuel line or 6an line, from $25-$60.
You'll also need various fittings and such. Maybe another $40.

So for around $400, you have excellent filtration, a very strong and reliable fuel pump PLUS the ability to adjust it from anywhere between zero and 60psi where it will stay no matter HOW much fuel your flowing. I've tried to over work that little Walbro, and I don't think it can be done. And I'm way over the horsepower in my sig, just haven't had the chance to dyno again.

and yes noise is important to me, I love diesel clatter, my stack and high flow intake but I HATE!! the sound of a whiny electric pump and if you can hear it in cab or over the sound of the diesel then yes I would not want it when the GDP kit is all but silent and cheaper.
but if FASS has fixed the noisy pumps then yes I would run it over the GDP kit

hey I feel the same way. some these guys dont drive their trucks but twice a week. I drive mine daily and all the noise in the cab gets old. Im ready for a muffler again too. so they can call me old also. I have to listen to a train horn at work for 12 hours, I get my fill of noise then
