I'll agree with Justin on this one. FASS 150/150-1008. Runs a solid 21psi.

If FASS is the answer, they you're asking the wrong question.

I'd consider getting one, but given the cost, you can buy:
Three Walbro pumps.
2/3 of a Cam
TWO aeromotive pumps.

Or a Fender American Standard Strat Deluxe.

Having had both Fass and Glacier's system, I'd go Glacier. Get the 392 comp version and add the 2mk filter and line kit. The only downside is one you've already pointed out - no water seperator.

ive had both also. I had the 95 pump on my 05 and it was stupid loud. if I bought another fass it would have the filters for sure. I have the glacier now and it is quiet and has worked great so far. been installed about a year now. ive seen some of the older fass pumps go out about every year. their customer service is a joke from what ive seen

Wow. It seems to be cool to bash the Fass these days around here anymore.

The loudness was something from the past the best I can tell. I can hear mine, but I personally like that. The way I see it is that it's just an excuse for those who don't like it to put it down. Who cares if you can hear the pump, that lets you know it's working. You've probably got stacks and a high flow stage 2 intake, but now noise is an issue?

I paid $600 for my Fass. From what I could tell, that's about $150 more than a GDP kit. I think the price difference is clearly justified when you compare the two. Hardly enough difference to put the kids through college.

Personally, I think any of the options are better than stock. Airdog might be the best of the bunch. You just have to ask yourself what is important to you. For some, the price is the ONLY selling point.

I bought my Fass back when they were $450 w/filters.
I had a couple brushes go out back in the day but once I got the free update kit that DPP sent me in the mail the FASS has worked flawless ever since.
That is close to 3 years ago.

5 micron filters are also only $9 if I order them over the net or $17 locally, they last about 6 months to year before they need changed.
The water seperator runs about $20.

I'm not bashing just asking a question..I have never even owned a FASS thats why I asked
and yes noise is important to me, I love diesel clatter, my stack and high flow intake but I HATE!! the sound of a whiny electric pump and if you can hear it in cab or over the sound of the diesel then yes I would not want it when the GDP kit is all but silent and cheaper.
but if FASS has fixed the noisy pumps then yes I would run it over the GDP kit
my .02

Stock injectors = 2mic tolerance levels
Fass = 10mic (or optional 3mic) filtration
GDP = 2mic filtration

Price, noise, color, and popularity mean nothing to me. I want the cleanest fuel possible, and I darn sure want it filtered down to the injector's tolerance level.

3 was the smallest I found when I was looking at them. A happy FASS user here also said 3 was the finest you could get.

The head/threads are probably all the same size so you could probably find something to work. Not sure why FASS or their dealers don't offer it though.
