farm boy diesel exhaust

Is anyone on here running a 5" farm boy diesel exhaust with muffler? If so i am wondering about the quitness of them. Currently i have a striaght piped stocker and its loud as heck and doesnt sounds very good, i want to quiet it down if possible and still go with the larger diameter exhaust.

Thanks,
Kevin

The FBD kit is the same as the Expandit kit.

I would avoid ANYTHING to do with Gus Farmer of FBD. He was banned from this forum for being dishonest.

thanks Larry, I will take your advice, i want to have a good experience, could you recomend a cheap kit? like i stated above my stocker has been straight piped and sounds horrible, i want to replace my current system including down pipe and I want to incorporate a muffler to quiet her down a bit. are the ebay 5" kits with mufflers a good solution?

As Larry said, Gus was being shady in his business practices. Im not going to bash the guy, but I would not reccomend doing business with him. The expandit is a good low cost kit. Just google it and you should get some good companies that sell it.

Rollin Smoke Diesel sells the same kit with their name on it. 289 w/o muffler and 309 with muffler. I believe those are shipped prices too. I added it to the cart and went to check out to see shipping. Shipping cost was $0.

I was browsing through the vendors on cummins forum and all their exhaust prices are shipped...so the prices above are correct.

I have one. I like it. I had 4" straight pipe, then aeroturbine, then dynomax and they were all too loud and raspy. The 5" is deeper and mellower... all around better. And I never had a problem with FBD... to each his own.
