anyone running an electric fuel pressure gauge, I have had my share of problems with isolators, and would like to try something else.

i bet you could send them back and have autometer check em out 97....if they knew you were having these problems( if you havnt already said something to them) because they have a good rep with the gasser guys and prolly hate that they are losing the diesels guys business to isspro and dipricol, maybe they will replace them....or not...worth a shot

i am also running an autometer ultra-lite electric fuel pressure gauge. no problems either- autometer does recommend using a snubber when using it on the diesel. you can buy the snubber through them. (they have them in brass and stainless steel-get the stainless steel!)

I had the same problem, ditched the mechanical and the worthless isolator and went electronic. No bleeding, no needle valves (for those who remove the isolator) nothing, just screw in the sending unit run one wire and your done!

Thanks for the replies, my autometers don't match very well either. I have the green covers on, not going to worry about it, to many other things I want.
