My question is about the EGT gauge. I want one now but if I put one in the stock exhaust manifold now can I take it out later and put the same one in an ATS exhaust manifold? (I plan to put an ATS exhaust manifold on the truck in a couple of months.) Would I have to get a new one?

sure... just use some high temp copper antiseize on the threads and don't over tighten things and you should be able to unscrew them later
