Got the Edge Juice Extreme on and all I can say is WOW!!! Very mean and powerful on the extreme setting. I have never been a big fan of smoke but you can certainly tell the box is throwing the fuel because the smoke is huge.

I love the Attitude and all the options it has. I am still reading the book and trying to figure out everything. It is easy to control on the fly. Still have to figure out another place for mounting.

Questions: The truck is defueling hard on the race (100) and extreme(150) setting even though I thought I have it disabled. It defuels on a hard launch and a kickdown from 3rd to second. anyone else have this problem? Also anyone running this box - does your truck surge on these settings. It seems the fuel peddle is very (extremely) touchy. When driving it seems to surge if you let off the fuel. It is very distracting and hard to get used to driving.

All in all - I am excited about this box and what it can do.

 

I have mine on the 05' and it does not defuel unless I am on the throttle really hard and back off 100%, if my temps go over 1350(they havent yet) and I have not had any problem with shifting.

 

I talked to Edge this afternoon and learned a few things. First the problem with defueling probably isnt with the juice - it goes back to the truck. This box doesnt turn the truck's defueling off is what the tech guy from edge said.
He walked me through what to set up with the juice on the attitude. I had everything turned off correctly to keep the juice from defueling. He said the Juice currently has no override of the defueling on the truck. It still does it, so it is the truck - I guess.

Secondly I learned something valuable by talking to him on letting the truck get warmed up before using any performance setting. The truck will throw a code of 2146 injector voltage issue if its not at operating temp.

Lastly- He said on the extreme setting the juice will be very responsive and touchy. The throttle will be very responsive so the surging issue could be with the throttle being touchy to my subtle foot movements. Not sure on that one????

 

I didnt notice the part abot surging. I only use levels over 3 when I am running someone. Yes it will surge if I use it for regular driving and it is VERY responsive.

I was told by edge that hot juice which I have didn't come until engine temp was at 172*, did I get some BS? or is the extreme different from hot juice in this manner?

 

Now maybe I am behind time then.

I thought the Juice came in Regular and Hot version. Is there a new Extreme version out?

 

they call it a hot version but when you go to level 5 the display says extreme, that is probably what he is talking about.

Temp wise, mine starts working at 150 degrees.

 

When I ordered - I sent back to have reprogramed and the tech at Edge tells me about the Extreme version. I get it back and it has Extreme version typed up on paper. I think it is called Extreme because noone I talked to said anything about Hot. Plus he told me 174 degrees - and he is right. I have played all weekend with it and it wont go full tilt untill 174. But I dont suggest trying it much before operating because it makes the truck run like crap for a while.
