Edge juice with attitude question
Edge juice with attitude question
I just got a edge juice wiht attiude and i also got the hot unlock code. Then when i get on it on the higher levels like 5 or 6 it throws a p2034. I think thats what it is, i know its a over boost code. All i need is a boost fooler right?
The Juice does boost fooling so I don't think that's it. You may try posting the actual code here so we can see what it is. Do you know about the 3 key cycles to retrieve codes? The one you posted doesn't have anything to do with our trucks.

Yeah, but does it do it on a '03? I thought the edge only did boost fooling on the 04.5+ trucks with electronic wastegates?
They do boost fooling and then you use a elbow to adjust for higher boost on the stocker but I think he's got a bad connection or the Juice isn't working right. The boost fooling isn't a function of "fooling" the electronic wastegate but fooling the signal from the MAP sensor to the ECU. More fuel will make more boost so you need to fool that signal to the ECU or it will set that CEL. On the E wastegate trucks the ECU will just send voltage to the wastegate to open and get rid of extra boost while throwing the CEL.

Ya the dam thing is really making me made. I cant even touch the gas pedal without it going into limp mode. If i have it on level 5 or 6 and i barley get on it. it trows a code, the boost one, and goes into a dam limp mode and feels like its ford powered LOL. But it starting to **** me off and i check the connections and seem to be good, i guess i will take them all off and check them again. Any one have any better ideas?????? Thnaks
It sounds as though the connector is really messed up or the Juice has a problem with the boost fooling circuit. You may have to send it back and try another one. It really is simple. It either boost fools or it doesn't. If it doesn't then you will normally be able to build boost at least until stock PSI is met in the ECU by way of the MAP sensor. Once you go over that range then the ECU will throw the light which means you would need a boost fooler to achieve more boost than stock along with an elbow on the solenoid hose on the turbo. It's a little brass elbow with a set screw in it that you got with your Juice. If the connector is not making contact then that means the MAP sensor signal is not getting to the ECU so it will default to the safe side and just throw the light and limp. Same way if the Juice boost fool circuit is bum, the ECU will not receive the proper voltage and it will throw the light and limp.
I had the same problem with mine 3weeks ago the moment i pulled out of the shop. Doing 50km down the road and touch the fuel and boost would climb high and Edge would back down up to 80% like right now. When i got home i found they had not set my tire size, once i did this it ran awsome and still does. Not sure if this helps but it worked for me. Good luck!!
