Dyno results on my 05 2500

I was at work today "I dyno tune gasoline cars" tuning a 300ZX with upgraded twins on E85 fuel, AEM stand alone engine management etc etc blah blah... And finally had some time after my appointment to toss the new truck up on the dyno and play with it some I hit 500WHP 1056WTQ CORRECTED numbers and 483WHP and 1022WTQ uncorrected with no lock up switch so i couldn't put it to the floor until about 2000RPM... i had to just ease into the throttle so it wouldn't down shift, so TQ is down some im sure do to it. Going to toss it back on the rollers with a lock up switch and dyno in overdrive instead of 3rd/drive as i did today. Also going to add a lift pump as its all stock fuel system right now. Should net a nice increase i think for the next time which will be soon.

Some info on truck... Stock turbo , 100% stock fuel system, Banks FMIC, Banks high ram, banks ram air intake, 4 inch exhaust with a Smarty SR and a MP-8 stack and some trans work by Al Fischer @FFP Trans. Im VERY happy with the results as this is on a LEGIT Mustang dyno that hasn't been messed with to read higher! Add about 12% or so to get Dyno Jet #s.

Its nice to have a 2 and 4wd dyno at my disposal anytime i want them that's for sure!

I posted this as when i go to search for peoples setups and #s they get i can never find any good solid information with dyno etc. So i hope this will help some of you?? I will be doing more dyno testing and updates to the truck. I'll post them up as i go for those that like information like this.

On Smarty SR for the street tune how i run it all the time im running SW7 all defaults except waste gate "off" for more boost to cool EGTs and my MP-8 cranked to 100%. This made 486.5whp and 1009WTQ. TQ is off some as i didn't have a lock up switch and couldn't put it to the floor till about 2K... so keep this in mind on TQ #s. The SW7 tune i have yields 1350 degree EGT to the top of overdrive at 3200rpm out on the street.

To hit 500HP i ran SW9 with MP-8 at 100%. I can tell its starving for fuel as the HP hardly increased with this change.13.5HP is all i got going to SW9.

I'm familiar with AEM. Haven't tuned any mustangs on it but i've tuned it on lots of others platforms/engines such as twin turbo charged Vipers, EVOs, Supras, hondas etc... I tune with it a lot and its what i have ran for 5 years on my EVO that's been making the numbers in my signature for about 4 years now on pump E85 fuel.
