Just did my homemade airbox install last week. Cost was $8. Filterminder no longer moves while towing. EGT's are down by 100deg. Also keeps out critters and other large stuff. Maintains factory filter for best filtration.

I have done the homemade solution as well. My truck does not have fog lamps so the hose runs to the fog lamp grill on the passenger side of truck. Air is forced right into the bottom of the airbox when in motion.
