Meth can increase cylinder pressure and be even more dangerous than N2O.

Wow, so you gained almost 50hp with just water?

I told myself I wouldn't use water on this truck, but if there's 50hp to be gained then I might just have to.

I would not spend the money. I'm not happy with mine. Maybe if you get a custom set up... I'm not knocking the benifits of water injection, but I don't like mine.

Well it does take some tuning to see benefits. You can't just buy a kit and expect it to work perfectly on your truck.

I had W/M on my 1st gen and was very disappointed after I first installed it. No difference in power or EGT's. After changing the single nozzle to dual larger nozzles and adjusting the pump/controller I was able to see a solid 100-150* difference in max EGT's while getting a nice gain in HP too.

no i did not gain any hp with mine i wont run any meth in the mix since it does cause added timing and will lead to alot higher temps in the cylinder comp to the gas. while the gas will give you both lower egts and power out the other end of the comp cycle. i trust my boy soulzoo he has been there and done that and i listen when top tells me what to look out for. and while i dont agree with what nx says that nos can have no bad side effect, "sparing to much nitrous in a diesel with only cause the motor to die". the fact is you can overspool a turbo and turn it into a gernade just as fast as shooting a rod out of the bottom of the gasser. so be smart talk to those that have used the gas before and be safe
